Christmas is a difficult time for many homeschoolers. There is so much going on outside of school – church activities, holiday parties, etc.
It can be hard to keep your kids’ focused on learning through this time. However, when you provide them with fun activities and worksheets like these, you can engage them in learning with fun holiday-themed pages.
Christmas Worksheets for Preschool
During the holidays, I need simple activities to keep things going. Anything too involved is likely to be set aside, because there is just so much going on.
This pack of worksheets is perfect, because they’re print and go! There is no prep work involved. For kids who enjoy coloring, print the pages on white paper. For kids who don’t, use red or green paper for a change of pace.

Fun ways to use these printables
Here are three fun, low-prep ways to use Christmas worksheets with preschoolers:
Worksheet + Movement Break
Turn worksheets into an active game. After completing a page, have kids do a quick Christmas action like hopping like a reindeer, spinning like a snowflake, or marching like toy soldiers. It keeps little bodies moving and attention high.
Cut, Glue, and Create
Use worksheets as craft starters. Let kids cut out pictures, glue them onto construction paper, and decorate with stickers, crayons, or cotton balls for snow. This builds fine-motor skills while turning paper work into hands-on fun.
Story Time Extensions
Pair worksheets with a Christmas book. Read a short story, then use a themed worksheet to talk about characters, colors, or counting related to the story. It helps reinforce learning while keeping the activity cozy and connected.
